![]() ![]() ![]() If you want a great grand piano, the first rule is not to get a baby grand. I would recommend you have a look around, and don't get tempted into immediately buying one as a better piano might be right around the corner. I believe C7X (which is a 7'6 concert grand) usually retails at around 80,000 brand new, so i got a really good bargain. I have had it for 3-4 years now and it is probably the best purchase i have ever made. Luckily, i managed to get in contact with a piano wholesaler for Yamaha, and i managed to get a refurbished C7X concert grand for only $25,000. So many times i went to the stores i would often notice many of the Grand pianos (second hand) has some sort of fault. However, if your not familiar with Grand pianos you need to make sure that the instrument you are buying is of good quality and is in good condition. I myself spent two full days traveling around my state going to different piano vendors and looking at their pianos, "testing them out" and seeing if I liked them. If you wish to save money and get a second hand Grand piano you have to be very careful of potential scams or short handedness by piano vendors. ![]() Please note if you want a large concert grand then you need to keep in mind shipping and delivery and whether where you live is accesibl. If you plan on buying new or firsthand you don't really have much to worry about, just pick a brand and a size appropriate for yourself. ![]()
